Looking at the year since the U10 bus route was reduced in frequency from 1 bus per hour to 1 bus per 90 minutes-
1. Has the total number of passengers carried on this route reduced and by what percentage? Or has passenger numbers carried increased and by what percentage?
2. What is the average number of passengers carried per journey? How does this compare with the previous year.

The figures represent an average weekday and Saturday in Autumn 2021 and 2022 (dates with industrial action are excluded from the average). This period is chosen as it is typically the busiest time of the year for bus demand.
Please note that demand in 2021 should not be used as a representative of normal demand on the U10 as this was during the pandemic when overall demand across the bus network was heavily reduced compared to pre-pandemic conditions.
