Thank you for your request received on 5 May 2023 asking for information about accounts blocked by TfL’s Twitter account.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do not hold the information you require.
We do not keep a record of how many users are blocked by the TfL Twitter account. We estimate that we block around three accounts a week, these are usually obvious spam bot profiles. As such we do not tend to unblock these accounts, but again we do not keep a record of this.
