I am currently conducting a research to improve the process of the exit interview in the HR department and I would like to have information about the turnover rate at TFL. I you can please provide me with the annual report of the turnover rate and exit interview report with the KPI’s related to it and the comparison to the national turnover rate in UK if any. I would like to have the information for the last 3 years (2017,2018 & 2019).

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 June 2020 asking for information about staff turnover rates.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.

Please see the below turnover rates for the past three years as requested:

2017/18 – 14.1%

2018/19 – 11.9%

2019/20 – 9.5%

We do not hold an exit interview report, nor any KPIs related to it.
