I am doing a case study for GSM London on driverless cars and I would like to ask a few questions if you could possibly be of help I' be most grateful as follows:-
1. How many buses drivers are currently employed in London and start up pay?
2. How many train drivers are currently employed in London and start p pay?
3. How many are employed in the administration side of all transport in Lonon
4. How many are employed throughout the employment of TFL.
5. Would you know how many people commute in the city London

Thank you for your e-mail received on 9 May 2018 asking for information about for Transport for London (TfL).
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require.
1. How many buses drivers are currently employed in London and start up pay?
We do not hold this information as bus drivers are employed by the bus operators that operate the bus routes. More information on bus operators can be found on our website:

2. How many train drivers are currently employed in London and start p pay?
We employ approximately 3,700 Tube Operators. When a Train Operator has successfully completed the trainee stage the salary is £51,329 and 29 days annual leave entitlement per year plus public holidays.
3. How many are employed in the administration side of all transport in London
4. How many are employed throughout the employment of TFL.
