Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on25 April 2024 asking for information about operating costs and passenger number for the 207 and SL8 bus routes.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
Specifically you asked:

We do not hold this requested information as the operation of buses is a contracted service operated on behalf of TfL by a third party private bus operator. Also, the annual passenger numbers of these two routes for the most recent year available.
Please note that this data will not include the SL8 bus route (launched in July 2023), but does include its predecessor bus route 607. The annual route passenger data for 2023/24 is expected to be published in Autumn of this year.
