Could you please let me know when the speed limit changed from 30 mph to 20 mph on the A3200 Southwark Street in London, specifically in the area between its junctions with Great Suffolk Street and Lavington Street? Thank you.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 June 2020 asking for information about the speed limit on Southwark Street.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
The speed limit on Southwark Street was changed in February 2018. Please find attached a copy of the order (006) which covers the part of Southwark Street you refer to. TfL 20 MPH extents in Southwark can be seen on the attached plan.
