Dear Transport for London,

We answered
TfL Ref: 0291-2223
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 10 May 2022 asking for information about Stratford station. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy.
We do not hold the information you have requested. Stratford Underground station underwent major construction work commencing in the 1990’s to accommodate the Jubilee line extension and London Overground which involved a virtual rebuild of the station. Further work took place in the 2000’s to accommodate the extension of the Docklands Light Railway to Stratford International. Consequently, the materials that were used in the construction of these parts of the station did not include asbestos. Note that isolated areas of the original part of the station do remain, but these are outside the TfL remit. If required, further information on these areas should be sought from Network Rail. They can be contacted at https://www.networkrail.co.uk/who-we-are/transparency-and-ethics/freedom-of-information-foi/
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
