Follow-up to FOI-0018-2425: Thank you very much for your email. Can you please also confirm how many Oyster Retail shops and ticket machines are required for UB1 area and how many are available as of now?

Thank you for your further request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23rd April 2024 asking for information about Oyster retailers.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

Can you please also confirm how many Oyster Retail shops and ticket machines are required for UB1 area and how many are available as of now?”.

I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

In answer to your first question, the requirement in the UB1 postcode area is 16.

In answer to your second question, there are at least 16 agents in the area currently. The map provided via the link in our previous response (see below) will pinpoint the exact numbers and locations within the UB1 postcode area. In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
