1) when was the drainage gullies and channels last cleaned out in Royal Greenwich and Bexley.
2) in Bexley there are two areas that regularly flood over two of the lanes and the hard shoulder. What plans do you have to resolve the problems that have continued ever since you took control of this road?
3) when will you clear the 100's of tonnes of muck from the central reservation and sides of the road / hard shoulder and side paving that have accumulated since the Olympics when, to my recollection, it was last cleaned.

Thank you for your clarification email received by Transport for London (TfL) on25 April 2024 asking for information about the A2.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. Specifically you asked:
when was the drainage gullies and channels last cleaned out in Royal Greenwich and Bexley.
The gullies were last cleaned on September 2022 and are currently being cleaned within the block closures. Gullies are normally cleaned every 2 years.
in Bexley there are two areas that regularly flood over two of the lanes and the hard shoulder. What plans do you have to resolve the problems that have continued ever since you took control of this road?
Drainage investigation works have been undertaken to identify the issues and schemes are in place to help resolve this situation.
when will you clear the 100's of tonnes of muck from the central reservation and sides of the road / hard shoulder and side paving that have accumulated since the Olympics when, to my recollection, it was last cleaned.
The accumulation of detritus is covered under the Environmental Protection Act and is the responsibility of the boroughs. Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
