Thank you for your email received by us on 8 May 2017 asking for information about the Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued to commercial vehicles.

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. You asked:

 

Can you please advise how many Penalty Charge Notices have been issued in total relating to commercial vehicles? Data for the last 3 years would be useful, broken down by year. Can you please advise what breakdown is available within the data, i.e. breakdown by council region, breakdown by contravention code, etc?

 

We do not hold this information as we do not distinguish between different categories of vehicles when we issue PCNs.
