Thank you for your request received on 21 May 2020 asking for information about cycle spaces in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require.

Please see the data below for the number of cycle spaces installed:

2018/19– 122 on-street spaces (50 Sheffield stands and 12 bike hangers), and 72 off-street spaces delivered by the Borough
2017/18– 140 on-street spaces (25 Sheffield stands, 15 bike hangers) and 187 off-street spaces delivered by the Borough
2016/17 – 60 on-street and 127 off-street spaces delivered by the Borough
2015/16 – 99 on-street and 156 off-street spaces delivered by the Borough

We do not hold information on which streets the stands were installed on. Please contact the London Borough of Tower Hamlets directly for this information.
