We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-0263-2122 Thank you for your request of 4th May 2021 asking for information about paying the Congestion Charge online. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. Specifically you asked: “I am after information on your website as I went to pay for conjunction charges and the website was not working so I would like proof that it was (working ) so I can fight this in court. the dates I need are the 28/2/2021 until the 30/3/2021”. Our Road User Charging team inform me that the only planned outage on our website during this period was from 08.00 on Saturday 27th February to midday on Sunday 28th February. The system was up and running normally outside of these times. However, note that customers could see all static pages and still pay the relevant charge via the pay portal. We have no records of any unplanned outages across the period 28th February 2021 to 30th March 2021. Note that if you have experienced an issue paying the charge or with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) then you can contact the Road User Charging team at [email protected] and they will look into the matter. If this is not the information you are looking for please do not hesitate to contact me. If you are considering submitting a further FOI request please think carefully about whether the request is essential at this current time, as answering FOI requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. Where requests are made, please note that our response time may be impacted by the current situation. Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed. Yours sincerely, David Wells FOI Case Officer FOI Case Management Team General Counsel Transport for London
