What information does TfL hold about levels of traffic in the L Borough of Barnet over the last 5 years and also projected levels in future years?

We answered
TfL Ref 0258 -2021/22 Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 11 May2021 asking about what information TfL holds about levels of traffic in the London Borough of Barnet over the last 5 years and also projected levels in future years. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
In our City Planning team, we develop strategic models which provide forecasts of demand on the highway network. We are currently in the process of revising these forecasts and also looking at how we can account for the uncertainty of the future within them.
We also hold actual traffic data covering the period of your request from a number of adhoc traffic counts that have happened across Barnet. We have 14 Automatic Traffic Counters (ATCs) which we should be able to provide patched data from across the period provided. There are also 6 Boundary Cordons within Barnet which we will have data from 2017 and 2019 within the period. Attached are some basic images showing the location of each survey/count/cordon.
