Garden Bridge - Cancenllation Liability

You asked
Could you please provide under the Freedom of Information Act any details of the cancellation liabilities that attach to the Garden Bridge Trust's contract to construct the Garden Bridge. Please note that as a result of the mayor withdrawing support for the project, it can no longer proceed, and therefore exemptions under FOIA relating to prejudice to commercial negotiations no longer apply.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 5 May 2017 asking for information about cancellation liabilities.

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

 

I can confirm we do not hold the information you require. We do not hold a copy of the Garden Bridge Trust’s contract to construct the Garden Bridge and so do not hold any information in relation to cancellation liabilities that may attach to this contract.
