Some time earlier this year "Transport for London, No Stopping, 7am-7pm" signs were put up on Holloway Road on both sides of the road in the vicinity of number 589 (northbound) and 696 (southbound) between Davenant Road and Marlborough Road, shortly after the completion of roadworks relating to the Upper Holloway bridge replacement project. These signs remove longstanding loading arrangements outside various properties on Holloway Road. As you will be aware, we have replaced the bridge at Upper Holloway station and final works in the area are now being completed.

Temporary loading and parking bay suspensions have been required to allow worksite deliveries. The Traffic Order number for the temporary suspensions is GLA/2008/0134.

Suspension notices were displayed on site. Local businesses were informed of the temporary changes by the project’s Public Liaison Officer. Information about temporary changes has also been included on the project’s webpage:

https://tfl.gov.uk/travel-information/improvements-and-projects/upper-holloway-bridge?cid=upper-holloway-bridge.

We plan to remove the no stopping 7am-7pm signs on Holloway Road this month, and the parking/loading arrangements will revert to back to the original restrictions, which were in place to the bays being suspended.
