We answered

Our Ref:         FOI-0214-1920

Thank you for your request received on 18 April 2019 asking for information about London Overground service.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.

We always aim to run services as planned and changes only happen as a last resort to prevent delayed services causing longer-term disruption. Where services share tracks with other train operating companies it can take longer to recover from an incident. In order to get the trains where they need to be and reduce delays across the network, it can become necessary to skip some stops.

The total number of delayed trains that skipped stops during the Highbury & Islington – New Cross/Clapham Junction/Crystal Palace/West Croydon service between 18 April 2018 and 18 April 2019 is 1523, this is equal to 0.74% of services.
