Hello,
I need information about the entry and exit data for all stations of all tube, Elizabeth line, dlr and overground by day from 2019 up to as recently as possible for 2024. It would be helpful if possible to present the data in quarter of an hour segments for each day. Thank you!

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16 April 2024 asking for information about Tube, DLR, Elizabeth Line, Overground entry and exits.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
Please find attached a zip file containing spreadsheets showing the daily tap counts (exits and entries) for all stations from 2019 to March 2024. We do not hold this data hourly (or quarter of an hour) as requested.
Please note that any station with daily taps of less than 5 have been removed as this could be considered personal information, and is therefore exempt under section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle of Article 5 of the UK General Data Protection Regulation which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.
