How many qualified lawyers are employed by TfL?

How many qualified lawyers at TfL earn over £50K?

How many qualified lawyers at TfL earn under £50k?

What is the starting salary for a NQ lawyer at TfL?

There are currently 89 qualified lawyers employed by TfL in the Legal Department. Of these, 81 lawyers earn over £50,000 per annum and 8 lawyers earn under £50,000. The starting salary for a newly qualified lawyer will depend on experience but is under £50,000.

In considering the information above, please note that as well as providing advice to TfL and its subsidiaries, TfL also provides legal advice to the Greater London Authority, the London Legacy Development Corporation, the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation and the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime pursuant to shared services arrangements. As such the breadth and scale of legal support we provide to these organisations requires a significant legal team.
