Can you also please provide FOI of how many buses are overdue for refurbishment for each of the London Bus opetstors, and a list of their registrar numbers. Many thanks.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17 April 2024 asking for information on bus refurbishment.

 

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. 

 

I can confirm that we do not hold the information you require as TfL does not have a definition of overdue on vehicle refurbishment. There is a constant monitoring of the status of Bus Operator refurbishment programmes to ensure an appropriate throughput of refurbished vehicles taking account of operational requirements, availability of vehicles to cover for vehicles away for refurbishment; and available capacity in various Refurbishment facilities across the UK.
