TfL Ref 0195-2021/22 Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 30 April 2021 asking for information about the Crofton Road Transport Improvements Scheme. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. Your questions and our replies are as follows: 1. A copy of the Financial Agreement between the London Borough of Bromley and TfL for the total payment of Monies in respect of this Project Each year boroughs receive funding from TfL to implement the Mayor’s Transport Strategy (the provisions for doing this are made under section 159 of the GLA Act 1999). As part of the process TfL requires boroughs to develop a Local Implementation Plan (LIP) which details how the borough is going use its funding. The funding is provided based on the proposals outlined in the LIP which has been approved by the Mayor of London. A copy of Bromley’s approved LIP can be found here: https://www.bromley.gov.uk/info/200107/transport_policy/535/local_implementation_plan As such, TfL does not have a financial agreement with the London Borough of Bromley in respect of this scheme, because it is covered by the statutory process outlined above. 2. A copy of the original Agreed Schedule and Total Payments to be made to the London Borough of Bromley in the implementation of this Project To implement the scheme, Bromley was allocated £673k from TfL’s Cycling and Walking LIP funding.
