Dear TFL,I am looking for the DLR train announcer but all I got was barry white,I am looking for the one who says "this Train is for beckton,the next stop is, royal Victoria at West beckton", please if you do you think I can have the voice,I really really want it please

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18 April 2023 asking for information about the DLR train announcer.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

The ‘next train’ announcements on the DLR are automated. The Thales signalling system sends a code to the ASL LLPA system which triggers the announcement from text to speech. ASL use their own proprietary software. As the announcements are no recorded, we are unable to release them.
