Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 26 April 2022 asking for information about vehicles registered as a Taxi, Hackney Carriage or for Private Hire.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Please find the information contained within the attached spreadsheets. All vehicles are licensed in London by Transport for London. Please note that taxi and private hire vehicles are licensed on an annual basis and where there is a period of relicensing some data in the vehicle records are overwritten to reflect the new licence. Therefore, the information provided in the accompanying attachment is a snapshot of all licensed taxi and private hire vehicles as of 4 April 2022.
