Our ref: FOI-0162-2021/GH
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 May 2020 asking for further information about collisions.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
When will the remaining data for 2019 up to 2020 be available?
We aim to finalise collision data for 2019 in line with Department for Transport (DfT) publication timescales during the summer of 2020. The DfT are reviewing the publication timescales and we are awaiting further guidance from the DfT on the publication of the national dataset as all local authorities that feed into the national dataset will be affected by current events.
In relation to the attached plot picture that you provided and the extract below, are you able to identify the type of accidents that were involved at those two locations and whether they were, for example, car v pedestrian, cyclist v bus, car v car, pedestrian v bus, etc.
There are three collisions here, the larger dot is two records, reference numbers are 0115LX51382, 0115LX59004 and 01180116024.
These involve one slight injury to a bus / coach occupant, two car occupants slightly injured and one slight injury to a bus / coach occupant. The police code collisions to within 10 metres of the location of the collision, so some locations may not be exact.
Are you able to confirm the date on which these particular accidents occurred?
These collisions occurred on 1st December 2015, 27th December 2015 and 22nd June 2018
