FOI request for additional CCTV images to those < 3 > upon PCN GT82030576. 13/11/2020 10.48 AM

Request ID: FOI-0151-2021
Date published: 20 May 2020

You asked

Regards PCN GT82030576 issued on 15/11/2019. I am making the request for further CCTV images of the road traffic situation of 13/11/2019 that were recorded immediately before those that form the basis to the issue of the PCN .I need the series of images/views that show the flow of vehicles that were immediately in front of my vehicle leading up to the traffic lights and exit from West Hill Wandsworth, when the restriction to the flow of vehicles caused by the closure of one exit route and the adjacent road works, caused continuous interruption to the free movement of traffic and was the reason that the PCN was issued for the YBJ contravention within that queue of slowly moving vehicles. The evidence contained on those CCTV images is entirely necessary in support of my appeal against the issue of the PCN. Sincerely,

Our ref: FOI-0151-2021/GH

Thank you for your requests received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 May 2020 asking for information relating to a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require - other the DVD evidence of the PCN contravention, which you were sent on 30 January 2020 as part of the appeal pack,  we do not hold any further footage of that area at that time.

We have also received your further email of 19 May. In response to this, I can advise that we did not acknowledge your request received on 6 May, as this was identical to the requests received via our website and via What Do They Know on 1 May which we had already acknowledged.

Please note, the Government has announced a series of measures to tackle the coronavirus. It is essential for London, that we continue to provide a safe transport network for essential journeys.

In current circumstances, we are not able to answer FOI requests readily and we ask that you please do not make a request to us at present.

Answering FOI requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. In any event, please note that our response time will be affected by the current situation.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
