Thank you for your request received on 22 April 2022 asking for information about advertisements placed on the TfL network that fall within the ‘finance’, 'entertainment and leisure', and 'pharmaceutical' categories.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
Between Jan 2020 and Jan 2022 we ran 3,332 campaigns for Entertainment and Leisure, 1,167 for Finance and 451 for Pharmaceuticals please see attached for list of clients and campaigns numbers. Please note that though two of the names of the companies contain the word ‘tobacco’, the campaigns were for Vape and/or nicotine replacement products.
We do not hold information on the revenue breakdown per client as the cost for each campaign is a negotiated price that is agreed directly between our media partner (responsible for selling advertising on our network) and the client.
