Thank you for your request received on 17 April 2018 asking for information about penalty charge notices (PCNs) issued in the Homerton High Street/Homerton Fire station area.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:

I would like to know the number of PCNs issued for the Homerton High Street/Homerton Fire station area in the last 2 years

Between 1 January 2016 – 31 December 2016, we issued 10,845 PCNs to vehicles who were observed entering and stopping in the yellow box junction when prohibited on Homerton High Street infront of the Homerton Fire Station emergency exit.

Between 1 January 2017 – 31 December 2017, we issued 11,630 PCNs to vehicles who were observed entering and stopping in the yellow box junction when prohibited on Homerton High Street infront of the Homerton Fire Station emergency exit.
