TfL Ref: FOI-0124-2223
Thank you for your email which we received on 20 April 2022. You asked: “On this page: https://content.tfl.gov.uk/national-rail-adult-fares.pdf on your website TfL have published the caps for National Rail stations. However the caps for the Henley, Marlow and Windsor branches are not shown. Please could you state them”.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
TfL only publishes capping information for journeys within the area covered by Oyster and in respect of Contactless-only stations that are served by TfL. Accordingly, capping information is included for stations on the line to Reading as these are served by TfL Rail (soon to be Elizabeth line) trains.
Capping information for any other stations is the responsibility of the relevant National Rail Train Operating Company. In the case of the GWR Thames Valley branches to Windsor, Marlow and Henley-on-Thames, it is GWR’s responsibility to publish this information.

Although TfL provides the infrastructure to support Contactless PAYG, it has no remit for setting, detailing or defending Train Operating Companies’ fares policy.
