Following the termination of the contract with Bombardier please provide a copy of the report assessing the tenders for the 4LM signalling contract that was subsequently awarded to Thales. Please note that following the ruling from the ICO about the Merseytravel advertising contract only personal data should be redacted.

Thank you for your email received by us on 16 April 2017 asking for information about tender assessments.

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. You asked:

 

Following the termination of the contract with Bombardier please provide a copy of the report assessing the tenders for the 4LM signalling contract that was subsequently awarded to Thales.

 

Only two bidders registered an interest in the procurement and one did not pre-qualify, hence this became a single tender action. Therefore we do not have a specific report assessing the tenders.
