The government have stated on 3 4 23 that the funding they give TfL cannot be used for the ULEZ expansion Please advise where the funding is coming from for the ULEZ expansion if it is not from the government

Thank you for your request received on 11 April 2023 asking for information about funding for the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) expansion.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

Finance for the expansion of the ULEZ will be provided through the GLA’s Green Finance Programme. More information can be found on the GLA website:
