Can you let me know if TfL or the Mayor has had any correspondence from Unite the Union on the subject of the cost of a taxi and Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles? Any correspondence since April 2022.

Thank you for your request received on 11 April 2023 asking for information about correspondence with Unite the Union on the subject of the cost of a taxi and wheelchair accessible vehicles.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

We have carried out an email search of the accounts of the members of the Taxi Private Hire team who would have been contacted by Unite using the terms ‘wheelchair accessible vehicle’ and ‘WAV’. I can confirm that TfL has not had any correspondence with them regarding the cost of a taxi and wheelchair accessible vehicles during the time period requested.
