Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17 April 2021 asking for information about Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ) & the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require – we do not hold any documents relating to plans by London boroughs to create CPZs, or more specifically, the London Borough of Barnet’s plans for creating a CPZ around the A406 due to the expanded ULEZ.

We are aware that LB Barnet had already published their CPZ proposal and considerations for which parking due to the expended ULEZ was a point considered.

2.2.2. The expansion of the ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) up to the north circular (A406) road, which will see non-compliant vehicles required to pay a daily charge to enter that zone. This will be implemented by Transport for London on 25 October 2021, and is likely to see a significant increase in commuter parking in the areas immediately north of the A406, especially near transport nodes.

I am sorry that we are unable to assist you further on this occasion. You may wish to consider referring your request to LB Barnet here:
