PHV operator license for Lyft
 
Please may I have the following information: Has the company Lyft been granted a PHV operator license by TfL, enabling it to operate in London? If yes, please can you provide the license number.
 
I can advise that Lyft has not been granted a Private Hire License by TfL.
 
If not, can you please confirm whether Lyft has submitted an application for a PHV operator license which is currently under review by TfL?
 
Under section 43(2) we are not obliged to confirm or deny whether we hold this information, as this is likely to prejudice the commercial interests of Lyft if it is disclosed to the wider public, which would include business competitors.
