Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17th April 2020 asking for information about road maintenance on the A3211 Victoria Embankment heading Westbound.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

1: Please could you supply a detailed maintenance road report on A3211 Victoria Embankment heading Westbound, on the pedestrian crossing opposite Temple Station between November 2019 & April 2020 please.

2: How many complaints have been received regarding the pothole.”

I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.

Please find attached the maintenance reports for Victoria Embankment between Derby Gate and City Boundary that covers the section of the road mentioned in your request. This includes all details of safety inspections, defects identified with description and date, the defect type and the repair status. It also includes details of defects reported through the public enquiry manager, which covers reports from a number of different sources including enquiries.

The TfL Streetcare tool (where public complaints on defects are reported) shows that between 9 December 2019 (when the system went live) to 22 April 2020 there was one report for the location specified in your request.
