Thank you for your clarified request received by us on 26 May 2021 asking about a risk assessment for cycleway 6.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

We actively promote adherence to the Highway Code by all road users and encourage ‘responsible cycling’ and mutual respect between cyclists and pedestrians. All schemes are subject to a thorough Road Safety Audit (RSA) process at each stage of the design and implementation. An RSA considers the road safety implications of all measures proposed, their safety impact on the network under all anticipated operating conditions, and their road safety implications on all types of road user. As part of the RSA process for CS6, no issues with taxis at the Stonecutter Street location were raised, however if you have noticed something that requires a response please get in touch with us via the link https://tfl.gov.uk/help-and-contact/contact-us-about-cycling

If you are considering submitting a further request please think carefully about whether the request is essential at this current time, as answering FOI/EIR requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. Where requests are made, please note that our response time may be impacted by the current situation.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
