Our system only goes back as far as 1 April 2014, therefore I am providing information from 01/04/14 to 31/03/18.

In that time, we have had 19 contacts about the Wick Road junction with A12, 9 of which were complaints. Some of the contacts did not directly mention the design of the crossing, but were safety related (eg mentioning car accidents at the junction, fly-tipping, traffic light timings etc). Of the 19 contacts made, 16 were from members of the public, 2 enquiries were from a legal firm and 1 enquiry was from an Assembly Member. We are constantly monitoring the safety of our roads and junctions, including the A12 and Green Gate Junction. All safety concerns are taken seriously and we are keen to work with residents where these are raised.

As there has never been a scheme in the area we do not hold any other briefing type notes or other documents related to this junction

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely,

Melissa Nichols
