TfL Ref: FOI-0056-2122 Thank you for your request of 8th April 2021 asking for information about promotion rates among non-British Transport for London (TfL) employees. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. Specifically you asked: “I'd like to know the number of British employees that were employed at Band 2 level on non-operational roles in 2016 and that are now employed at Band 3 level. While we do hold some data as to the ethnicity of staff (where they have volunteered this information), this does not equate to nationality. That said, you may be interested in the regular Diversity and Inclusion publications that can be found on the following page of our website - this includes a regular Ethnicity Pay Gap report: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/equality-and-inclusion-publications If you are considering submitting a further FOI request please think carefully about whether the request is essential at this current time, as answering FOI requests will require the use of limited resources and the attention of staff who could be supporting other essential activity. Where requests are made, please note that our response time may be impacted by the current situation. Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
