Good afternoon
In the interests of transparency and fairness in the process of how Private Hire Operator Licences (PHOL) are granted by TfL, we request the following:
(1) Copies of the conditions Ola (Ola UK Private Ltd- Licence Number 010111) is subject to under its new three year PHOL;
(2) Copies of the conditions Free Now (Transopco UK Limited- Licence Number 010072) is subject to under its current PHOL; and
(3) Copies of the conditions Gett (GT Gettaxi (UK) Ltd- Licence Number 010015) is subject to under its current PHOL.
Section 3(4) of the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998 states that licences "shall be granted subject to such conditions as may be prescribed and such other conditions as the licensing authority may think fit" and so, TfL, in your capacity as licence authority, should provide clarity on such conditions. Your guidance note mentions "Specific conditions may be applied to individual licences in specific circumstances. These will be detailed on the licence issued." Therefore, our request seeks to obtain specific copies of the PHOL licence conditions that the above-named entities are subject to.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on4 April 2024 asking for a copy of the private hire operator licence conditions for Ola, Free Now and Gett.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold some of the information you require. Please see the documents containing the licence conditions attached.
Please note that Ola no longer holds a London private hire operator’s licence. However, we have provided the licence conditions that Ola was previously subject to.
