1 On the corner of Great Cumberland place it has taken Conway over two months to replace the paving stones.This has caused disruption and has taken a long time 2 On the corner of Baker Street and Marylebone Road Conway have placed a number of containers on opposite sides of the road maximising traffic disruption and causing increased pollution 3 On Marylebone Road Conway have caused severe traffic disruption on one of the most polluted toads in london . They have started work in various parts of the road at the same time workmen are rarely seen there and the traffic and pollution is appalling. \3 In Lisson Grove Conway have been awarded a contact on the housing estate. this has resulted in Lisson Grove congestion for months bordering on years yer workmen are not often seen there. 4 In Wigmore Street Conway haver again put up an number of fences etc yet workmen are rarely seen. Why were all these contracts awarded to Conway? What is the tender process? Who is supervising the works? Who costs the works? What is the cost to the rate/ tax payer of all this equipment Conway has put up up and left lying around the roads unattended and not worked on for months? What is the pollution policy? Are Westminster Council and Conway aware of the multiple deaths and other Illnesses caused by pollution due to increased traffic congestion? Why is Westminster Council permitting Conway who have been awarded multipole contracts to commence so much work at the same time an leave it unattended for weeks and months endangering the health of Londoners.? What its the method of payment to Conway? Are they paid at the end of the works the commencement in stages? Please clarify.? The Mayors code of conduct refers to how busy London is but does not set out the dangers of pollution caused by traffic congestion and the number of people killed by it. Is there a policy in which case explain how and why the above has occurred in Westminster and why TFL refused to reply to my previous request We await your response
