Do you hold data for London licensed taxis by their emissions class & age please (EURO2,3,4,5,6 etc.) I'm looking for something like table 2/3 in the bus fleet audit document, please.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 April 2019 asking for information about taxis.
Thank you for your email received on 10 January asking about the licensed taxi fleet.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
The table below shows the Euro standards for licensed taxis and how many are zero emission capable (ZEC) or have been converted to use liquid petroleum gas (LPG) as of 1 January 2019. The Euro standard information for licensed taxis is based only on the DVLA registration date we hold for each licensed vehicle.
As of 1 January 2018 taxi vehicles presented for licensing for the first time in London must be zero emission capable. Further information is available on our website: www.tfl.gov.uk/info-for/taxis-and-private-hire/licensing/apply-for-a-taxi-vehicle-licence.
We do not hold dates for when the various euro emission standards were introduced for taxis. Euro standards for taxis were derogated for up to a year after they were introduced to reflect the fact that taxis are designated as special purpose vehicles. Generally, this has meant that purpose built taxi emissions standards were introduced later than other vehicle models. This derogation ended with the introduction of the Euro 6 standard. However, Mercedes Vito taxi models were not subject to the derogation and therefore met the relevant emissions standards earlier than LEVC taxi models.
