TfL licensed private hire operators are required to regularly upload vehicles and drivers available for hire.
Please provide me with the numbers of TfL licensed private hire drivers and TfL licensed private hire vehicles available for hire in London for each of the most recent last three months of available TfL records.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 9 April 2022 asking for information about the number of PHV vehicles and drivers.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. You asked:
Please provide me with the numbers of TfL licensed private hire drivers and TfL licensed private hire vehicles available for hire in London for each of the most recent last three months of available TfL records.
The information provided by private hire operators must undergo analysis and verification. For this reason, the most up to date data available has been provided in the table below.
Please note that this data counts the number of unique drivers and vehicles that have been available to all licensed operators who have provided us with information for the specified period; licensed drivers and vehicles are permitted to work for or be available to more than one operator at any one time.
