We answered
Our ref: FOI-0025-2324/GH Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2 April 2023 asking for information about electronic devices received by our Lost Property Office. Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require – please see below:
Note that the information related to items recorded as the main item lost and includes any items that have since been claimed. We have not included where items are identified within the contents of bags or other items as this would require a manual review of a considerable amount of data. Items which remain unclaimed after 3 months from the date of loss becomes the property of TfL.
We remove and securely destroy any personal data. Any items that are not claimed are either donated to charity, recycled, disposed of or sold.
