Thank you for your email received by us on 03 April 2017 asking for information about Automated External Defibrillator Units on the network.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:
Can I please request the following information about Automated External Defibrillator Units on the network:
1) The number of defibrillators that are on the network
The total number of machines on the network is 215.
2) The number of defibrillators at each station and stations without defibrillators – preferably in Excel format including the line(s) the station is on
Please find attached a map listing the location of all machines on the network.
3) The latest version of the Overview Automated External Defibrillator Units network map
As above.
4) The number of times that a defibrillator situated on the Tube network has been used or deployed to an incident
Defibrillators were deployed 7 times in 2016 and 6 times so far in 2017.
5) The number of cases where a defibrillator (or cabinet) has been vandalised, stolen or taken out of the box without reason.
One machine has been vandalised and 5 machines stolen (these have all been replaced).
