You asked

Dear Transport for London, I am writing to you, pursuant to s.1 the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the act), to request the following information from Transport for London. Pursuant to s.1(a) of the act, you are required to confirm if the requested information, is held by London Borough of Lewisham Council (“the duty to confirm or deny”) Pursuant to s.1(b) of the act, you are required to communicate the requested information to me. 1. Please provide me with the number of vehicles used by the Mayor (including security personnel, aides etc) 2. Please provide me with the monthly mileage for each vehicle, since the Mayor was appointed to office, until the date of my request. 3. Please provide me with the monthly and or annual cost of each vehicle, broken down by insurance, fuel, tax and running costs) 4. Please confirm if any of the vehicles (as per question 1), are electric. If any are electric, please confirm when they first entered service with the Mayor's office. If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request. If you can identify any ways that my request could be refined, I would be grateful for any further advice and assistance. If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email or phone and I will be very happy to clarify what I am asking for and discuss the request, my details are outlined below. Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1st April 2023 asking for information about vehicles used by the Mayor.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

I am afraid that TfL does not hold the requested information. This would be a matter for the Mayor’s Office, the Greater London Assembly (GLA), to advise on. FOI requests to the GLA can be made via its website here:
