Postcodes of Congestion Charge Zone and its western extension

You asked
I am working on a research on the health and pollution effect of London’s Congestion Charge Zone.
And I was looking for access to the postcodes that are covered by the Congestion Charge Zone when it was originally implemented in 2003.
And, the postcodes covered by the zone when it was extended in 2007 (labelled as the western extension).
Please can you send me this data (preferably in csv or excel) as soon as possible.

Thank you for your request of 4th April 2022 asking for information about the Congestion Charge zone.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:

I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.
The attached list of postcodes, compiled in 2021, relates to the current Congestion Charge zone. As the zone today covers the exact same area as the original zone this is the closest match we have to a list of postcodes for the original zone (although note that as postcodes can be terminated and created from time to time we cannot vouch for the accuracy of the list on an ongoing basis, nor how precisely it will align with the postcodes that were in the zone in 2003). We do not hold a list of postcodes covering the western extension in 2007.
