Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 4th April 2022 asking for information about the hours worked by London Underground drivers.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“How many hours full-time and part-time tube drivers work respectively?”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Full-time train operators are scheduled to work a 36-hour week averaged over their whole rota. Part-time train operators are scheduled to work a 16-hour week.
