TfL Ref: 0008-2425

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 April 2024 asking for information about bus route D3.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You specifically asked: Go-Ahead London have operated the D3 bus route since September 16, 2023: https://twitter.com/Go_Ahead_London/status/1702937548757119181 Please could I obtain relevant information regarding the reliability of the bus route since Go-Ahead began operating the route and, if possible, how this compares to the reliability of the route from before September 16, 2023, when it was operated by a different operator.

Please see summary below as requested - Go Ahead took over the D3 route from Stagecoach on 30th September 2023 (ie during Period 07 2023/20240. Please note that the route went from High to Low frequency during Period 02 so was monitored differently.

In summary on the below from period 02 2023/2024 the minimum performance target was 82% on time when it went low frequency and prior to that it’s minimum EWT (excess waiting time) target was 1.10 whilst it was high frequency.

We’ve been working with Go Ahead on the performance of route D3, and they will be introducing a new revised schedule from 27th April 2024 with a view to improving performance. We will closely monitor the route each period from that date to check how performance is doing and will have further discussions with Go Ahead if a further reliability scheme is needed.
