Planned line closures and service changes

If there are any changes to the programme, this document will be updated. Check before you travel on our TfL Go app or Journey Planner.

Eastbound Central line trains will not stop at East Acton between Monday 2 August and late December 2021, due to platform reconstruction work. For details see the Stations, lifts and escalator works page.

The Circle line will be closed between Edgware Road and Aldgate via Victoria, the District line closed between Earl's Court and Aldgate East and Embankment station will be closed, between Wednesday 4 and Thursday 12 August. On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August the District line closure will extend to between Aldgate East/Edgware Road and Hammersmith, Kensington (Olympia) and Wimbledon. The Northern line will be closed between Moorgate and Kennington, between Saturday 15 January 2022 and mid-May 2022. This is while we complete the Bank Station Capacity Upgrade programme

Piccadilly line trains are not stopping at South Kensington until spring 2022 due to escalator replacement work. Circle and District line trains will stop as normal, except during planned works listed in the PDF below. Visit the project page for more information.

Due to Coronavirus, there is no Night Tube or Night Overground service until further notice. The Waterloo & City line will operate during peak hours only Monday to Friday, with no service at weekends or on public holidays.
