Lost, stolen or damaged Oyster photocard

Before you replace your card

A damaged card could be cracked, scratched or bent.

We will transfer any pay as you go credit or ticket to your replacement photocard. If we can't transfer your credit or ticket, we might refund you instead.

While you are waiting for the replacement card to arrive, you will need to pay for your travel. You can't get free or discounted travel, or a refund of fares paid, while waiting for your new card.

You need to pay a £10 admin fee to get your old photocard cancelled and a new one sent to you.

Replace your card online

  1. Go to your Oyster photocard web account
  2. Enter your application reference or 12 digit Oyster photocard number
