To be eligible for a Bus & Tram Discount photocard you must be:

If you're on Income Support or Employment and Support Allowance, download the Bus & Tram Discount scheme application form below. Once you've filled in your form, you need to take it to a post office in London.

Full requirements of what you need to take are explained in the Bus & Tram Discount scheme leaflet. The post office will check your application then give you your photocard.
To apply you must ask for a special application form at your Jobcentre Plus branch at your 13-week interview. Complete the form with Jobcentre Plus staff and they'll validate your application.
Once it's been validated you can take it to a post office with both of the following:
Speak to your Jobcentre Plus Work coach for information on whether you are eligible for the Bus and Tram Discount scheme.
To get the Bus & Tram Discount, you'll have to get an Oyster card (if you don't already have one), register it, and then have your discount concession added.
Just go to any Oyster Ticket Stop or Tube station and ask the staff to put your discount concession onto your Oyster card. They can also register it at the same time.

Your photocard is valid for six months.
