The RMT leadership has confirmed that it will not be going ahead with its planned strike action on the Victoria line this evening (24 September).

Peter McNaught, London Underground Operations Director, said: 'We are pleased that the RMT has agreed to suspend their planned strike action in order to continue discussing their issues with us.

'We believe that all of the matters the RMT has raised with us can and should be resolved through our internal processes.'
